Migrating to the United States is a dream of every individual, for various reasons. Each year, a number of people move to the US for employment, education, business and more. Here are some of the immigration trends we can expect in 2020.

H-1B and L-1 Visas: Employers may expect H-1B visa denials, especially those who serve customers at third-party websites. The USCIS is also making a new regulation, which involves revision of the definition of specialized knowledge, clarification on the definition of employer-employee relationship, and appropriate payment to L-1 visa holders.
H-4 EAD - In the coming March, there will be a new rule canceling an existing regulation for H-1B visa holders, which allows their spouses to secure a job on employment authorization documents - EADs.
New restrictions on foreign students - With a new enrollment of international students has already reduced by more than 10% during the 2015-2016 and 2018-2019 academic years, the Trump administration is further proposing new restrictions on international students.
These are just a few of the immigration trends we may expect in 2020.
